Wave of Light Gathering
Join us for a community gathering in honour of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day
Join Pacific Perinatal Foundation in remembrance and healing on Tuesday, October 15th for International Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Day. We invite you to a special community event in the beautiful Rose Gardens at Beacon Hill Park (between the Petting Zoo and Queen’s Lake).
Together, we will create a space of shared compassion and understanding, where the experience of loss can be honoured. We will share some words of welcome at 6:45pm and then join the Wave of Light at 7:00 PM by lighting candles to honour the little lives gone too soon. This global moment of remembrance allows us to join hearts around the world in solidarity and love. Tea and time for connection with others to follow.
This event will be led by Fiona Patterson (Grief and Loss Counsellor) and Stephanie Curran (Acupuncturist and Mindfulness Instructor). It is open to anyone who has experienced pregnancy or infant loss, as well as their supporters. Candles will be provided.
If you are unable to attend but would like to have a candle lit in remembrance of your little spirit, please email us their name or wording you would like to include on the label for their candle – info@pacificperinatalfoundation.com
