Our Mission

The Pacific Perinatal Foundation exists to offer hope and healing for individuals and families navigating pregnancy, infant, and reproductive loss on Vancouver Island. We are committed to providing compassionate, accessible, and integrated support services that meet people where they are in their journey.

Through counselling, peer support programs, community connections, and advocacy, we aim to reduce isolation and ensure that individuals and families feel seen, supported, and understood during some of life’s most difficult experiences. We also work to strengthen collaboration between community-based and clinical supports so care feels more connected and easier to access.

Our mission is rooted in the belief that healing happens in community, and that everyone deserves access to meaningful support—regardless of where they are in their journey or what they are facing.

Our Vision

We envision a community where pregnancy, infant, and reproductive loss are met with compassion, understanding, and coordinated support. A community where no one feels they must navigate these experiences alone or in silence.

We believe that navigating complex reproductive journeys is deeply personal and often overwhelming, and that every individual and family deserves access to care that honours both their emotional and practical needs. Our vision is to create a more connected system of support—one where counselling, peer connection, and community resources work together to ensure no one is left without care when they need it most.

Ultimately, we are working toward a future where every person experiencing loss can find understanding, connection, and hope within their community.
